February 21, 2022 - Atlanta, Georgia (PublicIntelPress) Election integrity group VoterGA has called to block Raffensperger’s efforts to outsource Georgia citizens voter registration information.

In a press conference today, election integrity group VoterGA announced their call on the Georgia General Assembly to ban Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's actions to outsource the Georgia voter registration system onto an internet-based cloud service.

  • Raffensperger contracted a Salesforce platform, MTX, to process Georgia voter registration information.

  • MTX is an India-based company which has no work experience on elections and is the implementation partner in the deal.

  • A secret, no-bid contract "has been well underway for sometime" between the groups.

  • VoterGA pointed out key security issues that are implicit in cloud-based computing and data storage, citing a class-action lawsuit against the San Francisco-based company, Salesforce, which alleged that its "Commerce Cloud" had become prey to malware.

  • Salesforce once lost the Personal Identifying Information (PII) for almost 20,000 clients.

  • On February 9, 2021, VoterGA released a 42-point report refuting Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger's January 6, 2021 letter claiming that then-President Donald Trump made false statements with his lawyers.

The non-profit, non-partisan election integrity group VoterGA's investigation found that MTX's employee list has just three people working for them in the United States and just one of those in Georgia. The workers at the company used personal computers and emails

Salesforce, based in San Francisco, is a cloud software company that is modeled on the company that censored the social media website, Parler, which had reached a point of critical mass in popularity before being cancelled by Amazon Web Services in 2020. Parler would later have their civil motion against Amazon Web Services denied by a Seattle District Court.

The outsourcing of this labor gives up chokepoints in the electoral system to foreign entities and third parties, none of which are beholden to the Constitution of the United States and Georgia, a problem that is cited by VoterGA.

In addition to its history of censorship, Salesforce is also a one-time collaborator with Stacey Abrams' "New Georgia Project" in a clear politicized effort to influence voter registration. Abrams' was accused of financial mismanagement while working for the organization and she allegedly worked just a 20-hour workweek on a $177,550 salary.

According to Favorito, The President of Salesforce, Marc Benioff, is known to be politically partisan, and publicly opposed election integrity initiatives via legislative motions, including Senate Bill 202, which seeks to curb unsolicited requests for absentee ballots.

“There is no technical or business reason to
subject Georgia voters to these kinds of severe risks. The General Assembly must stop this insanity prior to
implementation to avoid permanent damage to our elections. The codes changes that are necessary to protect
Georgia voters are simple and easy to make.” - Garland Favorito

Earlier this month, the Georgian election integrity group released a 42-point investigative report contending that Raffensperger's 10-page letter to the Georgia Congress and General Assembly was false. The group asserted the letter was inconsistent with the findings of the Georgia General Assembly.

The letter, which was coincidentally sent on January 6, 2021, claimed that then-President Trump made false statements about the integrity of Georgia' 2020 Presidential election with the help of his legal team.

"We must have an undistorted, precise understanding of facts about improprieties of the November 2020 election to make the changes necessary to ensure the integrity of the 2022 elections." stated VoterGA co-founder Garland Favorito.
