There is currently a joint-governmental operation underway between the US Military, Mexican Military, Mexican law enforcement, and unofficially, the Sinaloa Cartel.

There is currently a joint-governmental operation underway between the US Military, Mexican Military, Mexican law enforcement, and unofficially, Zacatecas men under the command of El Mayo of the Sinaloa Cartel.

Some 17,000 soldiers are pushing into Michoacan with 300-400 special forces to push back Cartel Jalisco (CJNG) back into Jalisco with the end state goal of capturing or killing El Mencho, the head of CJNG.
