Foley Square, Manhattan, New York City, New York (TRL, AA) - The case of United States v. Ray found Lawrence "Larry" Ray guilty on all 15 counts against him, including money laundering, extortion conspiracy, sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy and forced labor conspiracy.
A photo of Ray holding Felicia Rosario by the neck was shown as evidence during the trial.
This is what is so alarming, as a former Sarah Lawrence student: There's one thing about that college that never changes, which is that it's small and everyone knows each other's business. So the administration is saying they had no idea they had this sex cult was going on on college campus but the evidence that's coming out in this trial says something else."

Ray manipulated students at Sarah Lawrence College in Yonkers, New York into giving him money and performing sex acts in front of him.
In addition to being the best man at the wedding of former NYPD Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik, Larry Ray once brokered a meeting between Rudy Giuliani and Mikhail Gorbachev.
Ray forced cult members to work hard labor for him at the property of his step-father in Pinehurst, North Carolina.
Ray has stated he has worked for the CIA and another "US intelligence agency" in Kosovo.
Claudia Drury’s prostitution money, described by the government as his “cash cow” was funneled to a DNC social justice group in North Carolina.
Reporter Roberta Glass hopes the victims and former students will sue Sarah Lawrence college.
Drury lost 40 pounds while performing hard labor for Ray, due in part to the fact he disallowed the victims to eat carbohydrates.
Among the list of Johns, which has since been deleted from the docket, was the name Lawrence Konner, Hollywood screenwriter who worked on the Sopranos.
Isabella Pollok, Larry Ray’s co-conspirator, will go on trial in July 2022.
Ray supposedly had two seizure during the course of the trial, which delayed court proceedings.
“One of the most extraordinary trials I have covered. The quality of lawyering was fantastic. The government was well-prepared and had thought out their case really well.” - Roberta Glass, Roberta Glass True Crime Report
The one-time best man at the wedding of 40th NYPD Police Commissioner Bernie Kerik, Ray was born Lawrence Grecco before assuming the last name of his step-father. Kerik once helped him get a six-figure job at Interstate Industrial Corporation and the pair had met in 1995 when Kerik was still a young NYPD police detective and then-NYC Department of Corrections investigations director after being promoted from being Rudy Giuliani's chauffeur. Ray has asserted in the past that he worked for an American intelligence agency in Kosovo, and he once brokered a meeting between Rudy Giuliani and Mikhail Gorbachev. According to an eyewitness, a Genovese capo attended his 1988 wedding.
If you things aren't crazy yet, Ray also reportedly palled around with James L. Jones of Dynology fame.
Roberta is an alumna of Sarah Lawrence College, a once all-female university until becoming coeducational in 1968. Ray moved into the house of his daughter and her roommates before moving into the room of a female friend of her daughter, who at the time had a boyfriend. In addition to the abuse the victims endured, Ray also treated them to expensive dinners and clothes that he would pay for in cash.
He suffocated Claudia Drury in a hotel room with a plastic bag in order to coerce her back into prostitution, something she was attempting to stop doing. He ended up pimping the woman at a rate of $10,000 to $50,000 a week, totaling $2.5 million over a 4 year period when it was all said and done. Ray also on at least one occasion directed a male and female victim to partake in sexual intercourse with each other.
He threatened to hit several victims with a hammer and even goaded two of them until they were admitted into mental hospitals. Roberta describes Ray as a "middle-aged bald guy" who appears as if he could be a character in a Quentin Tarantino movie.
The FBI found multiple cell phones, audio recording equipment, and a lie detector machine in his house upon raiding it. Ray also reportedly told some of the victims he was aware of mind control. Law enforcement also found a lock on the refrigerator, as Ray had allegedly been depriving the victims of food as a means of coercion.
Isabella Pollok, alleged co-conspirator, will go on trial this summer.
Santos Rosario has testified in court and reportedly started to involve his sisters in the sex cult, with one of the sisters being described as Ray's wives upon his arrest, along with alleged co-conspirator Isabella Pollok. Rosario had poor mental health history, once attempting suicide according to his mother. Larry Ray attempted to persuade him to attempt suicide again on at least one occasion. Rosario dated Larry Ray's daughter, Talia, who had "some sort of relationship" with psychology professor, Marvin Frankel, who died in 2018.
Referring to Frankel, Glass stated: "He was always known as very inappropriately close with female students. That was his reputation."
Roberta describes Ray as being extremely paranoid and "a hoarder", and brought up a conversation she had recently with a DA who could opined he thought the students at Sarah Lawrence were smart. Glass asserts that members of cults in fact tend to have IQs that are higher than average, not lower, and that falling prey to a cult leader is affected by factors other than intelligence.
Speaking of intelligence, when I first heard of Ray's connection to Mikhail Gorbachev, I immediately thought of the CIA. It turns out, Ray boasted of his work as an international CIA operative. Similar to the Ghislaine Maxwell trial, the Ray trial saw connections to worldwide powerbrokers, celebrities, intelligence agencies, and political parties.
The Maxwell and Ray trials even shared a witness, FBI Special Agent Kelly McGuire.
Why isn’t this trial a bigger story?
Despite his alleged connection to the untouchable, extralegal, Central Intelligence Agency, Lawrence Ray is facing 15 years to life in prison.
Lawrence Ray will be sentenced on September 16, 2022 @ 2PM EST @ Thurgood Marshall Courthouse, 40 Foley Square, Manhattan, New York City, New York.
Until then, his residence is the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center.
