FOX News Being "Forced" to Do Actual Journalism

Whether it is the local Charlotte FOX news outlet or FOX National broadcasts, I have noticed an increase in the amount of coverage the legacy media is giving to worthwhile topics.

FOX News Charlotte recently did an investigation into illegal civil asset forfeiture by the TSA. I found this shocking due to the fact that mainstream media almost never gives any shine to state corruption or crimes by state. It is becoming more well-known however, just how frequent and drastic civil asset forfeiture abuses happen at airports.

In short, the best advice one can heed is to NEVER bring cash on a plane. Not cash that you would be willing to part with anyway. At their own whim, the TSA has the ability to seize (steal) anything you bring into an airport. In fact, from 2000 to 2016, the TSA seized over $2 billion in airports.

Whether it is a woman bringing her father’s life savings to a new home or a reformed criminal who has not had any run-ins with the law in over a decade, the TSA cares not. They will, and have, extorted people like this and continue to do so.

Even more mind-boggling to me was seeing Glenn Greenwald on FOX News discussing the CIA’s influence on the media. Talk about meta.

It is my contention that the reason for why FOX has recently been doing real journalism is the fact that the American people are sick of being fed propaganda by the legacy media.

Fearing their decreasing viewership/ratings, FOX has finally bit the bullet and realized they cannot simply lie in perpetuity and in an effort to regain credibility, they are doing actual work.

Unfortunately for them, and fortunately for the truth, it is hard to excuse lies like the forever wars in the Middle East/Africa or COVID.

Hopefully, the American people do not soon forget how much trust/credibility has lost. In terms of losing trust, the MSM are beyond the point of no return.
