Fire Causes 'Catastrophic' Damage to Jeff Prather's House

The original cause of the house fire has yet to be determined.

Major Jeffrey Prather (RET.) announced via Twitter on Monday that a weekend house fire laid waste to parts of of his house, but that he and his family are safe.

“Thanks so much for all the prayers, calls, texts, and emails.
We are safe in our guest house. Our house stands but the damage is catastrophic. Thanks to God, our wonderful fireman, and neighbors-some we hadn't even met who showed up! Please keep my girls in your prayers.”
