Cherokee County Board of Elections Greenlights Primary Election Audit
The Chair of the Cherokee County Republican party spoke with Addy on Wednesday.
The Chair of the Cherokee County Republican Party spoke with Addy Adds last week.
"Some of our members requested an audit. In response to this request, I as the Chair requested that the Board of Elections conduct an audit on behalf of our membership. I'm confident in the results of the election, and I think the audit will show the results are accurate. The CCRP is 100% behind all of our Republican candidates and we are ready to push forward to - and win - in November," Cherokee County GOP Chairman Jamie Dvorak said.
"Although this decision is subject to a final vote which will be taken at the Board of Elections meeting on August 1, the decision is expected to pass without serious opposition," Dvorak said.
The Board of Elections of Cherokee County will be holding the vote at its meeting on Monday, August 1st at 9:30AM. The address is 1130 Bluffs Parkway, Canton, GA 30114.
