Cabin In The Woods - The Delphi Murders Investigation
In my investigation into the murders of Abigail Williams & Liberty German in Delphi, Indiana, I, Addy Adds, encountered a strange man and his cabin in the woods.
"And now my watch begins."
It was the summer of 2021 and Addy Adds found himself in Delphi, Indiana investigating the mysterious murders of two young girls named Abigail Williams and Libby German.
This was a case which had attracted not only my attention, but the attention of my journalism mentor as well. Although I did not know it at the time I decided to go to Delphi, he had been there some 4 years prior , not long after the suspicious murders of the two young girls.
Then, people were talkative, curious and willing to open up in an effort to find the perpetrator or perpetrators responsible.
In the summer of 2021, there was a unique ambience to the small Midwestern village located in Carroll Cunty. The townspeople were polite and helpful in their places of business, but any questions about Abbigail and Liberty and one found himself cold-shoulder by the residents. This was a stark contrast to when my aforementioned mentor in journalism visited Delphi, not long after the girls were found slain in the woods.
At the time, there was still a media furvor which surrounded the mysterious deaths of the girls and the residents of the small Indiana town were willing to talk openly about what may have happened. Fast forward four years, and it was now an unspoken rule in Delphi that the case would not be discussed in public any longer.
In classic Holmesian fashion, it took only a day before an encounter with a man in the woods told the young investigator that there was likely a conspiracy in play.
I was the first person to stay in The Watchman’s Cabin along the river in Delphi, Indiana. The visible wildlife in the area included geese, ducks, swans, deer, rabbit, and other fauna and avians.
