19 year-old military hopeful and recent high school graduate, Noah Presgrove, was found murdered beside a highway after a party which featured underage consumption of alcohol in Oklahoma.
Editor’s Note: This is a FREE article and investigation which spanned several hours. All of the information is open source intelligence (OSINT) and the subject matter has a high degree of timeliness attached to it, so I did not want to put this article behind a paywall.
Noah Presgrove, 19, was wearing only shoes when his corpse was found just off of U.S. Highway 81 (US-81) near Terral, Oklahoma on September 4th, 2023, and the cause of death is still undetermined, with law enforcement stating they are not investigating the case as a homicide.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) Trooper Zach Wright encountered Presgrove’s body off highway 81 in Jefferson County, Oklahoma at 6:18 AM on Labor Day of 2023, per the medical examiner (M.E.) report. Presgrove was initially found some 25 minutes earlier by a passing truck driver at 5:53 AM local time.
An attendee of Presgrove’s wake stated in a since published text message that it appeared the departed had been beaten to death by multiple people.
“Bro everyone that saw Noah at the viewing including me saw his face beat up bad. Bro I know what a beat up face looks like. Definitely not just me saying that. EVeryone that saw him said that. Looks like he got beat up by 5 dudes.”
Key Facts
Presgrove had a blood alcohol level of 0.14
No drugs besides alcohol found in system.
Alcohol was heaviuly present at the party, and the attendees aged from 15 years old to 22 years old.
Shorts were undamaged despite grazing on the buttocks.
Items which belonged to Noah Presgrove which have not been found are one Adidas shoe, a hat, and Presgrove’s wallet.
Stories recounted by the partygoers are erratic and do not corroborate one another’s.
Noah Presgrove is last seen on video at approximately 2:00Am on Monday September 4th, 2023. He was wearing black shorts. “BS” was armed with a knife and an unnamed individual in the background is armed with a firearm and talking to “CC.”
“KP” stated in a post that Jack Newton woke up partygoers at 5:15 am and stated that Noah was found deceased.
“KP” stated he went to the scene where Noah’s body was and saw Noah on his back wearing black shorts. He was told to leave and Jack Newton stayed behind.
“KP” thinks foul play was involved in Noah Presgrove’s death.
“CN” has made inconsistent assertions about his alibi. In one, he stated that Jack Newton called him and notified him about Noah’s death while on the way to go fishing with his father. In another, he claimed that he found out while he was at his house, getting ready to go fishing, and that he drove his wife’s car to the scene.
Several people stated that Jack Newton and Noah got into multiple alteractions.
Several attendees stated that Noah asked for ride home from people.
All social media posts were deleted by party attendees.
According to Noah’s aunt, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) has agreed to assist with resources “as needed.”
A party attendee posted a selfie on social media at 3:14 AM on Monday, September 4th, 2023 which stated that Noah was missing.
Jack Newton stated in a message that Noah died at 4:00 AM. It is unknown how he knows this. Newton also stated in a message that he was pig hunting.
The back of Presgrove’s head was caved in, his nose and cheekbones were broken. His fingertips were shredded and there was gravel under his fingernails, road rash on his hip, and gravel rash on his shoulder.
Presgrove suffered 10 broken ribs, skull, neck, and spine fractures, all of which were serious, in addition to serious internal bleeding, damage to his brain and organs, and lacerations across the body. Both of Noah’s lungs were punctured and he had several teeth knocked out of his mouth, some of which were found near his body.
According to his family, many people have asked them if Noah Presgrove was partially of Native American descent, and they stated on a podcast that he is not. According to surname etymology search, Presgrove is of English origin.
Noah Presgrove’s relatives stated they do not believe his death was an accident.
“Do you know of anyone that actually detest him?” a podcaster asked family members of Presgrove in a podcast.
“No. Teachers and classmates always thought he was obnoxious and annoying and what no, but just as far as absolutely hated the guy? Maybe some ex-girlfriends?” his brother speculated in response to the podcast host. “But nothing sinister.”
Oklahoma Chief Medical Examiner, Leonardo Roquero, ruled that 19 year-old Presgrove died of “multiple blunt force injuries” but the manner of death was undetermined.
This image appears to show two of Presgrove’s female friends writing their names his buttocks in marker. One of the names appears to rea “Avery Joe.”
“The longer you keep the truth inside, the guiltier you become…you could aid in getting justice for Noah,” Noah’s sister Madison Rawlings said.
Addy Adds aka Sherlockito Holmesito’s theory:
Noah was attacked and beaten to death by multiple people, likely starting with a blindside strick to the back of the head with a blunt force object. His clothes were then removed and he was tied and dragged by a vehicle at a speed no more than 45 miles per hour. The purpose of this is to help facilitate the explanation that he was killed in an automobile accident. This also would explain why his teeth were chipped and scattered across the road. He was then left for dead.
Interestingly, his best friend was certain that Noah was not beaten to death, and postulated that he was hit by a semi truck.
Noah’s brother, Dailen Presgrove, believes that foul play is afoot.
“Quite frankly, seven months is too long.”
The longer this case goes unsolved, the more it reeks of a state-sponsored cover-up of capital murder of a teenager.
It seems to me, Addy Adds, the most likely explanation given the information we have is this:
Theorized Scenario: Noah was beaten to death by multiple people at the party. After he was killed, the perpetrators realized what they had done, and decided to make his death look like a hit-and-run automobile accident. They washed his body of any identifying marks, such as the sharpie written on Noah’s body by the girls, and, in order to make it appear like a hit-and-run, dragged him with a vehicle to the spot on the side of the highway where they eventually left him for dead. Instinctually, Presgrove curled into the fetal position before his internal bleeding caused a fatality.
It is amazing to me that no one has been arrested in this siutation. Given the fact that cell phone pings were used in the January 6th federal investigation and used to make arrests, one would think the Oklahoma State Police (OSP) could have easily arrested all teenagers present at the party and started interrogating them with the evidence they had.
If law enforcement wake up a judge in order so they can get a warrant for a blood draw in a DUI arrest in 45 minutes, one would think they could a warrant for search and seizure on the property where the party was held.
According to a Redditor, the “birth day girls’ house and property reeked of bleach,” which is, of course, indicative of an attempt to destroy possible DNA evidence related to the murder. Also according to this same poster, “family says good things are going on behind the scenes,” which is a positive sign a far as justice goes.
Three girls have allegedly gotten tattoos to commemorate him, and according to his aunt “he was very popular with the ladies,” and planned on enlistment in the military.
The family hired a private investigator (PI), who has since uncovered fresh information and given it to police. A PI discovering new information which the police failed to uncover should come as no shock to anyone who has followed my true crime reportage in the past.
“There is a rumor that his best friend's father found Noah's shirt from the party, which was then cut-up and distributed to the party attendees as a "memento". In addition to this event with his shirt, there is also information that his best friend's father had some of Noah's teeth in his pocket. He stated he "accidentally" picked them up from the crime scene. It's worth stating that this particular individual has been on Noah's family's Facebook memorial page for months, arguing with others on there. Just very odd behavior from an adult father who's son's best friend died mysteriously. But, on this same topic, NONE of the partygoers or their families have ever visited Noah's family to express their condolences. Never once.”
Presgrove is referred to as “Noah Alexander Nichols” in the autopsy report.
Kristen Smith, the mother of Noah’s ‘best friend,’ Hayden, shared her thoughts on the matter and stated she did not believe there was intent to murder but that there was a physical altercation between teenagers at the party.
“I don’t know what to believe, honestly. Do I think they intentionoally killed him? No. Do I think they were drunk and got into a fight with him? Yes,” Smith said.
Interestingly, high-profile pathologist who has opined on the cases of JFK, MLK, and Jeffrey Epstein, stated implictly he thought Presgrove was struck by an automobile of some sort.
Dr. Stuart Fischer, a doctor with experience in emergency medicine, reviewed the M.E. report and opined that even if Presgrove had reached a hospital in time, his injuries were such that he had little hope of survival.
“There are five and possibly up to 10 potentially life-ending injuries, it’s not just the one,” Dr. Fischer said. “My gues would be injruy by several different things at the same time, namely several different people at the same time.”
Jack Newton was a best friend of Noah Presgrove.
“Warrant Should Have Been In Place”
- Family of Noah Presgrove
So lord, when it comes to the scene it wasnt at secured as it should have been. When it comes to the house there wasnt any warrant that shouyld have been in place.
“When it comes to, was there even proper documentation that was done? No, not at all,” one family member said.
“Now that the FBI is assisting I would prefer for the FBI to actually take over the whole thing. That’s my personal opinion, but whwatver. Maybe one day they will. Rather than assisting but hopefully we get somewhere soon. We have gone this long for too long,” she said.
“I think we all deserve some answers I mean it took us this long to get the autopsy,” Noah’s family member added.
Robyn Smith stated most significantly that there were people on the scene of the crime, who, in her opinion, should not have been allowed there. These people included the volunteer fire department and the parents of the party attendees, in other words, people with a vested interested in protecting the prime suspects in Noah Presgrove’s death from law enforcement persecution.
“I feel that there were certain players on the scene which shouldn’t have been allowed on the scene." There [were] things that were allowed to be touched and moved. It just wasnt secure and i feel that that probably cost this investigation a lot. I know that the volunteer fire department they were the first officials on scene.I feel definitely at first it was not secure,” Smith said.
“It was kind of obvious what was going on and where he came from. I feel that the people from the fire department should have been on that scene. The parents shouldn’t have been allowed to remain on that scene and so it’s very frustrating. I feel that the lack of secuirty around there cost this investigation a whole lot. I fully respect our law enforcement and I know that they’re currently trying to everything they can to figure out what the heck happened. It’s just frustrating, it’s so frustrating. I dont know how to vocalize how I truly feel about the whole thing,” Smith added.
Dailen Presgrove, the brother of Noah Presgrove, shared his thoughts on the podcast as well, including the role of Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP).
“Just like what was Robin was saying there were certain people that were on the scene first that how they handled this case could have proloinged the case as long as it has or even jeopardized it at the end of the day. For long as its been going on I’ve had issuees with OHP now I did get a chance to talk to them and get their side of the story,” Dailen stated.
“I will give them credit in this area: if they hadn’t shown up that day, then this whole case would have been settled as a hit-and-run. Since day one, when I was on scene, everyone, all the law enforcement, everyone on scene was immediately saying it was a hit-and-run. Me and my dad were the only ones that were vocalizing it does not look like a hit-and-run,” Dailen Presgrove said.
“When OHP got there, that’s who finally declared it as a suspicious death and that’s how we got to the point where we are now,” Dailen added.
“We took the kids to Ole Red in Tishomingo. Noah was having a blast.” - Robyn Smith, aunt of Noah Presgrove.
“Jack gives his explanation for why he and his father were the second people to find Noah’s body besides the truck driver who called 911 in his portion of the interview. I have never seen or heard anything about that,” one Facebook user said.
“They would have had to keep going a lot longer than needed - like those cases where people are stabbed 50 times….it’s very difficult to break a skull,” Fischer added.
A viewer of an interview of Noah Presgrove’s best friend, Jack, aroused some suspicion in a listener who doubted that Jack would get up early to go fishing with his day after a late night of partying and drinking alcohol.
“Noah’s brother and father live in the same community as Jack’s father yet when they made it to the scene Jack’s father was already there. How does that happen? If Jack called his Dad to tell him Noah was dead WHY didn’t Jack call Noah’s Dad immediately after?” the listener stated. “The two fathers know each other, why wouldn’t Jack’s father go and pick up Noah’s father and [get] him to the scene as soon as Caleb made it?”
“Why [is] everyone acting like they just want it to be something terrible, losing someone is already one of the hardest things of life,” Jack Newton said in a Facebook post.
“The way Noah died actually was ‘something terrible,’” Derek Adams replied.
Stevie Howard is another person connected to the case, who replied to Jack’s post.
“I’ll glady drop [you] a pin if you’d like to discuss it in person? Maybe we can figure out this karma thing together?” Howard said.
A facebook user name Eric Thomspon Jr. replied.
“Wow bud! Are you actually threatening someone? Sounds a bit like it and why? Do you know something? Does someone that you know have something they need to let out?” Thompson said.
“No, I wasn’t threatening at all? I’ll send her my number too, meant to put that but I meant we really r an open book here [sic.]. She seemed to have legitimate questions,” Howard stated in reply.
One of Noah Presgrove’s friends appeared on a podcast and discussed the suspicious death, however, one listener was dubious of the friend’s alibi.
“Jack was up partying for how late? I’ve seen he said where he was sleeping when Noah went missing. He sure did stay up late drinking and partying for a guy who has to be up at the butt crack of dawn to go fishing with his dad,” the listener said in response to the interview.
“I have an announcement to make. On the podcast, I stated that a certain dad was looking at the ground, trying to fucs on something and bent down to pick it up, and it was Noah’s tooth. One of the guys stated something about it being in his pocket. I have never stated he had teeth in his pocket. I have always stated that he picked it up with his hand. Also, Victor told me the morning of that Caleb, Jack and Noah were supposed to fishing that morning. Not at Texoma, on a chartered boat, but at Waurika. That is all,” Smith said in a May 18th Facebook post on the official “Justice for Noah Presgrove” group.
“It still raises questions why anyone but law enforcement would allow anyone other than themselves to walk around a potential crime scene much less be able to pick up and touch anything,” Scott said in reply to Smith. “Robyn Smith, you have done a great job handling all of this even while your heart is broken.”
Kaden Pressy is the only party attendee who has officially gone on the record to make a statement regarding Noah Presgrove’s death.
“My name is Kaden I was the owner of the red Cherokee and the owner of the other grey hey dude found on Noah’s body. I know y’all might have many questions to ask me and I will do my best to expose all of the people lying about Noah aka spreading misinformation and saying stuff that isn’t true. I haven’t been active on social media because I’ve only been talking to people who NEED to know…the police, the family and the detectives. I did not want to come on here due to people twisting what I will say about this. From the start, I’ve told the God’s honest truth and nothing less. Noah is my friend and I can’t let all these people keep on lying about him. I was woken up at 5:15 due to Jack bursting through the door of the house alerting everyone that Noah was dead. I woke up 3 boys and looked for my hey dude for about 2 minutes. Ending up not finding it so I went with one shoe and ran to my red jeep Cherokee and drove a mile down the road to where a white semi and a white service truck was. We were there for about 2-5 minutes before being told that we needed to leave. NOAH WAS WEARING BLACK SHORTS when we showed up! HIS BODY was tampered with and I will stand by that in court and any test. When we got back to the house everyone went BACK TO SLEEP like nothing happened….. I stayed up the whole time thinking to myself how and why did this happen, because at the time we were under the assumption he got hit by a car. Stop spreading lies and misinformation on this. How would you like it if it was your family member or friend in that situation? I’m sure that you would feel the same as I do! Call me a liar. Whatever you have to say won’t change the truth. I know what I saw.”
